Igoni is optimistic that the event presents an opportunity for Nigeria and the sub-region to showcase its strength and opportunities in achieving growth in spite of down turn in revenue from crude sales.

Indeed, Upstream and Down Exhibition and Conference continues to be the largest indigenous and most-established oil and gas event in West Africa, and this year will witness the return of the celebrated Industry Excellence Awards planned for the evening of the first day and it will recognise the contributions of industry players in 10 categories.

Some of the topics lined up for discussion during the two-day event include, Modular Refineries Technologies, Drilling Rigs Enhancement, LNG Market development, Pipeline Engineering, Gas to Power, Oil Recovery Intervention Modules and Oil and Gas Financing and Insurance.

The director of Event thanked industry players for their past support which has led to the successful hosting  of the event, adding that the event has continued to receive commendations from oil and gas companies, high government personnel and diplomatic missions, enjoying endorsements from the Department of Petroleum Resources, DPR, Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Petroleum Technology Development Fund, PTDF, National Petroleum Investment Management Services, NAPIMS, South Korean Consulate, Nigeria, Royal Dutch Embassy, Nigeria; Nigeria Chambers of Commerce and Industry and other major industry Players and Stakeholders.

The Upstream and Downstream Exhibition and Conference focuses on key players in oil and gas sector around the world and provides opportunity for synergy on policies, technologies and innovations. And with the keen interest already shown by world business and political leaders to participate as Special Resource Persons, this year’s event promises to be a success.

The organisers therefore called on prospective participants including exhibitors and delegates to avail themselves of the veritable platform that the event presents and participate for the growth of their business in the industry.
