BALA Ngilari, former governor of Adamawa, is now a free man. The Court of Appeal in Yola, Adamawa has discharged and acquitted him of all the allegation of wrongful act made against him.
Ngilari had been sentenced to five years imprisonment by Justice Ambrose Mamadi of the state high court for violating due process in the purchase of 25 vehicles during his tenure as governor.
The appellate court, however, set aside Mamadi ruling on Thursday.
