Osinbajo Appoints New Heads for BOI, PENCOM, Others

Yemi Osinbajo,  acting president, has appointed new heads of some Federal Government parastatals, agencies and commissions.

The new appointees are Ali Usman as the chairman of the National Pension Commission with Funso Doherty as the director general; Dikko Abdulrahman as chairman, governing board of the Bank of Industry while Olukayode Pitan is the managing director. Emeka Nwakpa, is the chairman, governing board of the Consumer Protection Council.

Also appointed were four executive commissioners for the National Pension Commission.

A statement by Chris Okeke, director of Press in the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, said  all the appointments are to take effect immediately, except that of the National Pension Commission which are subject to confirmation by the Senate.
