THE refurbishment of potholes on Milikwe road in Nnewichi village, Nnewi has been ongoing. The road had deteriorated over a long period, which had rendered not motorable.

A staff of Anambra State Road Maintenance Agency, ARMA, Prince Ojini, who was on duty at the site, explained that ARMA would patch all the potholes on road before the onset of rains.

According to him the refurbishment was for road users plying the road not suffer during the rainy season.

Ojini, enjoined the people to desist from burning of tyres on roads during festive periods to avoid creating potholes and craters on roads.
