12 ships conveying petrol, others expected at Delta ports – NPA

THE Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Wednesday said 12 vessels conveying petrol, diesel, general cargo, and others were expected at the Delta ports.

NPA made this known in its daily publication “Shipping Position’’, a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Warri.

The organisation said that some of the ships included: MV Kote Budi, Matrix Asa, Matrix Pride, MV Asian Enterprise, MT ST Walgo, among others.

“Twelve vessels laden with petrol, diesel, general cargo and others are being expected at the Delta ports.

“NPA made declaration on one vessel: MV Frio Nereus, conveying frozen fish,” the authority said.

It also said that four vessels: RS Pioneer, MT LPG Lubersac, MV Kapetan Sideris and MT Igbinosa were waiting at anchorage.

According to the publication, RS Pioneer is waiting to load 45×20 tons of containers at the Koko Midstream, while MT Igbinosa was waiting at the Escravos to load 12,000 metric tons of crude oil.

“Similarly, MT LPG Lubersac is waiting at Koko anchorage to discharge 4,000 metric tons of butane gas, while MV Kapetan Sideris is waiting at Bennett to discharge 13,400 metric tons of wheat,” NPA stated.

The authority also said that MT San Biagio was waiting at Fairway Bouy to discharge 3,700 metric tons of bitumen. (NAN)
