Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, was on Sunday named as the chairman of the Campaign Council to work for his reelection bid in the 2019 governorship election in the state.

El-Rufai’s running mate in the poll, Dr.  Hadiza Balarabe, was also listed as deputy chairman while the vice-chairmen are the party’s three senatorial candidates, the Deputy Governor, Barnabas Bala (South); Mallam Uba Sani (Central) and Alhaji Suleiman Abdu Kwari (North).

Also on the list of the campaign team are the governor’s wife, Hajiya Hadiza El-Rufai, Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority, Hadiza Bala-Usman and the Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly,  Hon.  Aminu Shagali.

Others include the state party chairman, Air Commodore Emmanuel Jekada(retd), Finance Minister, Hajiya Zainab Ahmed, Deputy National Organising Secretary of the APC, Mohammed  Ibrahim and former Secretary to the State Government, Charles Bonat.

Other members include serving members of the National Assembly and the state House of Assembly, party candidates, commissioners and other officials of the government.

Party secretary, Muhammed Shuaib is the secretary of the Campaign Council. – Punch
