ENYIMBA International FC of Aba Media Manager, David Orji, says the club is not recruiting new players for now.

Orji made this known to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Aba

According to him, the club is still accessing players’ performance in the just concluded Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season to know the department that needed fortification.

He said that the club would definitely recruit after the assessment of the departments.

Orji said the club did not want ‘to rush things’ to avoid commiting avoidable errors in the transfer market and its high costs.

”We are still working on the players that are coming in and definitely at every end of the season and starting of every season there must be changes in some department.

”We will take a critical assessment of the squad, access areas where we need to beef up and that is exactely what we are doing at the moment.

”I cannot particularly tell you that, this player is coming in and this one is going but there must be players coming in and some going out,” Orji assured.

NAN reports that Enyimba FC finished the 2023/2024 season in third position and 63 points behind Rangers International FC of Enugu and Remo Stars FC of Ogun who garnered 70 and 65 points respectively.

Enyimba International FC will be representing Nigeria at the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Confederation cup competition.

The club is yet to beef its squad players for the task ahead.(NAN)
