FOR a lot of the indigenes of Abia State, Saturday 11th March 2023 could be a moment the redefines their fates, hopes and aspirations.

Whom so ever you ask around the State, one thing that emerges is the gloom, disappointments and weariness that marks their comments and no comments about the State, it’s government and governance since 2000.

Each bears the scars of pain, missed opportunities, broken dreams and griefs that has been slowly and yearly compounded by the 3 different but similar administrations that has ruled us since 2000. Each of these regimes successfully competed with each other unconditionally in making life miserable for the citizens.

Hope died. Fears mounted and penury eclipsed the populace in a State where God became ensconced in diatribe. We are unique in our ability to absorb. But the level has reached a break between despair and death.

There’s the dearth of ideas, innovative solutions for age old problems, management of men and materials and an indiscriminately increase in the stupidities that has marked the application of resources that are our commonwealth.

The pipes of development, infrastructural provisions and maintainance are all busted. We have been treated with a comic rejection of our humanity and justice has been denied to all and provided to none. Abia governments till today has treated the provision of the dividends of democracy and especially security to all as a secondary gift to the public from a benevolent guardian.

Today we stand at the threshold of taking back out State. Making rightful and responsible choices. That choice has been made lot more easier by the way we’ve been treated in these past 23 years.

However, there aren’t many choices for us out there. The many out there have been part of the extablishment and though they’ve changed their garments, their intentions, ambitions and substances remain the same.

For me, it’s easy. There are no choices. There’s only a choice. And that choice is DR. ALEX OTTI.

We’ve heard them all. We’ve read them all. We’ve listened to them and of course when it comes down to the bare facts, Alex presents a human solution to the in human problems created by the constantly changing chameleon called PDP in Abia State.

I cannot in good conscience and faith condemn my State to another moment, not to talk of another 4 years of senseless rape and death because we voted, got cheated or denied justice on the 11th of March 2023.

I enjoin each of us to consider what we’ve been through and where we can possibly be if properly governed, and make sure that you choose wisely.

THE dejections of the past election and the accompanying disappointment should spur us to come out, vote, protect our votes and ensure no voodoo results are announced.

THERE ARE NO CHOICES IN ABIA, BUT JUST A CHOICE, AND HE IS ALEX OTTI of the LABOUR PARTY!

SHARE WITH PVC CARRYING FRIENDS, FAMILY, MEMBERS AND ALL THAT DEVELOPMENT MEANS MORE THAN JUST RHETORICS!
