Abiru mourns Epe accident victims

SEN. Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru (Lagos-East) has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims of the fatal accident in Epe on Monday, Nov. 11, 2024.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the tragic incident involved a Dangote truck colliding with a tricycle and a Toyota Camry, resulting in the loss of five lives, including two students, and leaving many injured.
Abiru expressed his condolence in a statement issued by his Media Aide, Mr Enitan Olukotun, on Tuesday in Lagos.
He described the incident as “unfortunate and devastating,” sharing in the deep grief that had enveloped the Epe community, Lagos East Senatorial District, and Lagos State at large.
“I extend my deepest condolences to the families, friends, and loved ones of the victims of the tragic accident in Epe.
“This heart breaking incident has left an indelible impact on the Epe community, Lagos East Senatorial District, and the state at large.”
He urged everyone to stand in solidarity, offering comfort and support to those in need.
Abiru prayed that Almighty Allah grant the departed eternal rest and give the affected families the strength and courage to bear the irreparable loss.. (NAN)
