He said that both organisations were partnering to ensure policy clarity by developing and advocating for clear, industry-specific policies for fair treatment and protection of practitioners’ rights.
The director-general said that this would ensure implementation of fair compensation and insurance policies to safeguard practitioners’ welfare and provide financial security.
He said that it would also promote capacity building by designing and delivering training programmes to enhance industry professionals’ skills and competitiveness.
”We have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Agreement to guide this relationship and to enable us host an annual Business, Entertainment, and Creative Industry Summit.
“This will facilitate networking, knowledge sharing, and stakeholder collaboration, and also bring together all stakeholders, including regulatory and government institutions, the business community, and industry practitioners,to a roundtable.
“The ACCI is committed to supporting the growth of Nigeria’s creative industry.
“This partnership with AGN marks a significant step towards achieving our goals and will include engagement with marketers, directors, producers, and relevant public sector institutions ” he said.
