Adamawa govt. seeks memoranda for new districts creation

THE Adamawa State Government has invited interested communities to submit memoranda for the creation of new districts, aiming to enhance governance and administration at the local level.

The call was made in a statement on Thursday in Yola, by Humwashi Wonosikou, Chief Press Secretary to Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri.

“The submission period is Monday, November 11 to November 25, 2024.

“All communities desirous of new districts are eligible and free to submit their memoranda.

“The submission location is Office of the Permanent Secretary, Chieftaincy Affairs Department.

“This initiative demonstrates the state government’s commitment to improving local governance and addressing community needs,” he said. (NAN)
