All staff is temporarily working from home while the headquarters was being cleaned and disinfected, the ADB said in a statement.

The management added that it would make a decision in the coming days on when to reopen the bank premises.

In a separate statement, the bank said it was making available 200 million dollars in financing for companies manufacturing and distributing medicines and other items needed to combat the spread of the new coronavirus.

The financing would provide additional working capital for companies in Asia and the Pacific to meet expansion and other requirements amid increasing strain in production and distribution to address Covid-19.(dpa/NAN)
