AGF’s death: Monarch commiserates with Gov. AbdulRazaq

Oba Yakubu Buari, the Olomu of Omupo Land, and the entire members of Omupo Descendants Union, Home and in Diaspora have condoled with the Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, on the passing on of the Governor’s Father, Alhaji AbdulGaniyu Abdulrazaq (SAN).

In a statement made available to newsmen on Monday, the royal father also condoled with the Emir of Ilorin, the entire Abdulrazaq’s family and the good people of Kwara State.

He described the late Abdulrazak Mutawwali of Ilorin as a rare breed, an illustrious lawyer, ambassador and philanthropist whose impact will be missed.

Oba Buari further stated that the Tafidan Zazzau, and foremost Senior Advocate of Nigeria(SAN) lived a life worthy of emulation, adding that his significant contributions to the development of Kwara State and the Nation in general is unequal.

“Though his death is painful, we shall continue to celebrate his achievements, particularly as the first lawyer in Northern Nigeria and a leading light in the legal profession.

“He set the pace by mentoring and inspiring successive generations through his positions as chairman of the Body of Benchers and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.

“It is our prayer that Almighty Allah will grant him Al-jannatul Firdaus and grant his family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss. Amin”, the monarch said. (NAN)
