The 2020 Anambra Football Elections Committee will on Thursday hold a pre-election meeting with all aspirants in the Anambra State Football Association (AnSFA) elections, an official said on Wednesday in Awka.
Obinna Dike, committee’s Head of Media and Publicity, said the meeting was compulsory for all the candidates cleared for the elections.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the election of members of the AnSFA Board and 21 Local Football Committees (LFC) in the state would hold on Monday and Tuesday.
Both elections will hold between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on those days at the Bishop A.K. Obiefuna Retreat Centre at Okpuno-Awka.
“The meeting between the committee and the aspirants will be followed by engagements with all stakeholders, including the media.
“This is designed to ensure that the general public is kept abreast of the process, and for all involved to consciously participate in the elections,’’ Dike said.(NAN)
