Anambra Government inaugurates new TRACAS Park

THE Anambra State Commissioner for Transport, Afam Mbanefo, has inaugurated a new station for Transport Corporation of Anambra State, TRACAS, at Dike Park on Zik Avenue, Awka.

This is in line with the commissioner’s mandate to enhance convenience in the transport services to the people of the state.

“TRACAS is a household name; the company has always tried to play a key role in the transportation of Ndi Anambra to and fro their various destinations with convenience.

“Anambra is well known for transportation and logistics,’’ Mbanefo said.

He praised the safety and quality services provided by the transport company for travelers from various parts of the country.

The commissioner urged Ndi Anambra to be proud of TRACAS and patronise it for safety purposes, especially at this ember period.

The managingdDirector, TRACAS, Ifeoma Madukasi, said that the state government had directed that the services of the company be brought to Eke-Awka axis.

“Government plans to make TRACAS the number one in Anambra transport sector and to meet international standards.’’

She thanked Igwe Chris Onyekwuluje of Umunya for his efforts at ensuring that the land on which the station was sited was provided for the company.
