Anambra records 2 million voters in Anambra as at May 2018 – Obiano’s aide

AMAKA Akaudo, special adviser to Governor Willie Obiano, on Special Duties and Continuous Voter Registration, says Anambra recorded not less than two million registered voters at the end of May this year.
The special Adviser made the observation during a news conference in her office at Government House, Awka.
Akaudo, who noted that it was regrettable that many PVCs had yet to be collected by the owners from the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, urged such people to visit INEC office in their local government areas to collect them.
She described PVC as the only power that Igbo could use to choose credible leaders of their choice and make names at the federal level.
She urged Ndi Anambra to avail themselves of the opportunity provided so as to acquire their own before the end of the second, third and fourth quarters of the registration.
She also commended Obiano for dimming it necessary to create office for voters education in his government.
According to her, this has distinguished the administration from others in the South East zone in endearing people to get more involved in political affairs.
