Felix Achibiri, executive chairman of DFC Holdings Limited, receives award BID Century International Award because of his companies focus on innovation, quality and excellence

THE Business Initiative Directions, BID, has conferred the Century International Quality ERA award Gold Category on DFC Holdings Limited for its outstanding achievements, quality products and services in Geneva Switzerland. Conferring the award on DFC Holdings Limited at the 2015 BID International Convention for Quality, Innovation and Excellence in Geneva, Switzerland, Jose E. Preito, president and chief executive officer, of BID, said DFC Holdings Limited was chosen based on merit out of a painstaking selection process of global business players. Preito said that the award was given to outstanding companies, organizations, and leaders in the business world, focused on innovation, quality and excellence.
Receiving the award, Felix Achibiri, executive chairman of DFC Holdings Limited, expressed the readiness of DFC to use the award as a spring board to become a leading light in the area of addressing the increased multiplicity of opportunities in Nigeria and the African Continent.
Achibiri, thanked BID for recognising its efforts at providing quality products and services through its affiliate and subsidiary companies operating in different sectors of the Nigeria economy stressing that the award will spur the company to consolidate on achievements and commit to promoting Quality Culture amongst its employees, suppliers, clients and the community through the principles of QC100 Total Quality Management model.
He dedicated the award to God and management and staff of DFC Holdings Limited, according to a statement signed by Azu Onuoha, senior executive assistant to the chairman/head, corporate communications, DFC Holdings Limited.
The BID Quality Convention is attended by leaders from different business fields, professionals from the world of economics, the arts and corporate image, quality experts, as well as academic personalities and representatives from the diplomatic corps.
BID is a leading private, worldwide organisation with the objective of spreading quality culture through Quality MIX Plan and the International BID Award for Quality. In the past 29 years, BID has presented its award to several companies and organisations for Quality and its TQM model QC100 implemented in over 100 countries.
