LAURENTIA Mallam, Nigeria’s former minister of Environment, has been kidnapped with her husband.
According to Trust newspaper’s report, Mallam and Pius, her husband, were kidnapped in Bwari/Jere axis along the Kaduna-Abuja expressway, in the evening on Monday, October 3.
The newspaper also quoted Aliyu Usman, Kaduna Police spokesperson, as saying that while the couple was kidnapped, the driver was spared.
Only a few days ago, Margaret, the wife of Godwin Emefiele, governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, was kidnapped.
Margaret Emefiele was later freed by security agencies.
