ALL is now set for Oyo Mega trade fair which will commence from August 9 to 18, 2013. The 10-day trade fair scheduled to hold at Ibadan would be starring Abass Akande Obesere, a popular fuji crooner, as leading the artistes who are billed to grace the forthcoming event. Others are Taiye Currency, Yinka James and Adetoun.
The trade fair will be held at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan, Oyo State. Femi Odewole, entertainment consultant to the trade fair, said that Obesere and Taiye Currency as well as other artistes have confirmed to grace the occasion.
Odewole, a highlife musician, said visitors to the trade fair would be entertained with cross-over music, featuring various types of music such as hip hop, apart from fuji and juju. He said that, there would be no dull moment throughout the exhibition as an event DJ would start playing delightful music from 12 noon while live bands would take over from 5.00 pm daily.
The Mega Trade Fair will feature over 1,000 corporate organizations showcasing their goods and services and will attract over 300,000 visitors at a daily average of 30,000 visitors. Odewole said adequate security arrangements have been put in place while foolproof traffic measures have been worked out ahead of the event.
