THE Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, has warned the telecom subscribers against leaving their sim cards inactive for a certain period.
The NCC issued the warning in a tweet it sent out at the weekend.
The tweet on ncc.gov.ng reads: “Do you know that if you leave your SIM card inactive for a period of time, the number can get recycled to another user? Contact your service provider to know the time limit.
Realnews reports that the tweet is part of the commissions consumer education messages aimed at sensitising subscribers to know their right with regards to operations of the telecom operators.
