THE Hype Agency, a Public Relations Consulting firm, said that the principal photography and production of the movie, “Orah”, had been completed and ready to be premiered soon.

Funmi Oduse, Chief Operating Officer, Hype Agency, disclosed this in a statement on Friday, in Lagos.

Oduse said that the movie was shot in Nigeria and Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.

“Orah” stars Oyin Oladejo, Lucky Ejim, Agape Mngomezulu, Morgan Bedard, Somkele Iyamah-Idhalama, Oris Erhuero, O.C. Ukeje, Femi Lawson and Christopher Seivright.

“The notable Nigeria-based cast in the film include: Angel Oduko, Tina Mba, Emeka Nwagbaraocha, Ruby Akubueze and Kelechi Udegbe,” she said.

The story began in 2005, when 15-year-old Orah Madukaku killed a man in Nigeria and fled the country without her infant son, Lucky.

“Orah, 17 years later, is an illegal immigrant in Canada working as a taxi driver for attorney Eli Pope and his high-profile Nigerian client, Bami Hazar, who are both involved in international money laundering.

“After Hazar orders the murder of Orah’s son; she embarks on a revenge spree to bring Hazar to justice; and when all her legal options failed, Orah resorts to violence to settle the score.”

The Director of the movie, Lonzo Nzekwe, said  “Orah is a film I have been developing for the past 11 years.

“I am very grateful to have worked with talented cast and crew members.

“I am also honoured to shoot part of the film in Nigeria.”

Movie Producer, Floyd Kane, said “We embarked on this journey with Lonzo to bring Orah to life almost five years ago; I am so excited that we finally brought this story to the screen.”

The second producer, Amos Adetuyi, said “I am grateful that Lonzo wanted to work with us on Orah; it is great to bring a story to the screen that reflects my Nigerian heritage.” (NAN)
