THE Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Plateau Sector Command, on Friday, organized an interactive forum with fleet operators and transport unions for sensitisation on COVID-19 safety protocols.
The event which took place in Jos, also had other road transport executives in attendance.
Corps Commander Isaac Akporowho, the Sector Commander, said that the interactive forum became necessary following government’s phased easing of the lockdown and the resumption of inter-state travels.

“It became imperative for the command to convene a stakeholders meeting to fully intimate all critical actors in the sector on the modalities for operation based on the guidelines of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on the COVID-19.
“It is specifically related to road safety matters for stakeholders to learn and comply.
