THE Commonwealth Scholars and Fellows Alumni Association of Nigeria (COSFAN) has congratulated Prof. Ibrahim Gambari on his appointment as Chief of Staff (CoS) to President Muhammadu Buhari.
Dr Abiola Adimula, COSFAN President, said in a statement in Lagos on Thursday that Gambari’s appointment was well-deserved.
He said the new chief of staff, also a patron of COSFAN, was a dynamic and highly intelligent administrator.
“Gambari is dynamic and highly intelligent, a leader par excellence, an accomplished diplomat and a seasoned administrator.
“He has contributed immensely to national development and has displayed impressive and commendable representation of the country at the global community, ” he said.
The COSFAN president commended President Buhari for recognising Gambari’s impressive credentials and ability to function at such level of governance.
Adimula said that the Board of Trustees and Advisers of COSFAN was confident in Gambari’s ability to perform creditably.
“Gambari’s appointment is putting the right peg in the right hole; he is a man with impressive antecedents,” he said.
