COVID-19 Palliatives: Enugu State Governor's Aide Commends Former Boss of Igboeze South LGA

The S.A to the Governor of Enugu state, Prince Emma Efoke commends the Government of Enugu State for the proactive measure in containing the dreaded covid 19 pandemic and also the palliatives to cushion the effect and impact of this pandemic on the citizens.

Speaking in an occasion organized by Hon. Dr. Fide Odoh , the Former Chairman of Igboeze South LGA in partnership with The Ambassador for Unity, Development and Good Governance, Enugu North Senatorial Zone where he gave out Palliatives to indigent Widows, widowers and less privilege in the Area.

The kind gesture is in support of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s effort in providing palliatives for the people of the state.

Prince Emma Efoke thanked the former Boss of Igboeze south LGA, Dr. Fidel Odoh for the continued supports of Governor Ugwuanyi’s Government in ensuring the impact of the government  lockdown due to the deadly covid-19 pandemic was mitigated by the interventions.

Dr Odo provided 200 bags of rice

200 bottles of sanitizer

200 tubers of yam

200 pieces of mask

200 packs of take away food

and cash donations to  several indigent widows numbering over two hundred selected from the 16 wards that constitute Igboeze South.

The Governor’s aide also urged the beneficiaries and other guess present to continue to remember the Governor and the State in prayers.

He also urged them to continue to observe the social distancing,  personal hygiene  and other measures to contain the disease, encouraging them that the pandemic problem will soon be over and life will return to normalcy by the power of God.
