Suspected drug courier to be arraigned March 25

THE National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has preferred a count charge of drug trafficking against a suspected drug courier, Sunday Adeoye.
The defendant, 25, was charged with trafficking in 250g of marijuana before a Federal High Court in Lagos.
According to the Prosecutor, Mr Jeremiah Aernan, the defendant committed the offence on Dec. 3, 2018, in Oshodi, Lagos.
Aernan said that Adeoye was arrested on a tipoff.
He noted that the substance was restricted along with cocaine and heroin, adding that the offence contravened the provisions of Sections 11(c) of the NDLEA Act, Cap N30, Laws of the Federation, 2004.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Adeoye will be arraigned before Justice Maureen Onyetenu on March 26.
