NDC participants laud Enugu Police Command over inter-agency collaborations

Participants of the Course 27 of the National Defence College (NDC) Abuja have lauded Enugu State Police Command over robust inter-agency collaborations to reduce crimes.

Commodore Emmanuel Ogada, gave the commendation when he led the participants on a tour of the police command, where they were received by the state’s Commissioner of Police, Mr Mohammed Danmallam.

Ogada said that the participants noticed the serenity and peaceful atmosphere of the state and added that “this state can be said to be the most peaceful and safest in the country’’.

According to him, the command has done well in terms of inter-agency collaborations and relationships with other relevant stakeholders, as well as the state government.

“This has led to peace, security and safety in the state.

“We are in the command to appreciate the commissioner of police and the state command on their efforts so far.

“We want the commissioner of police and the command to keep it up,’’ Ogada said.

Responding, Danmallam thanked the leader of the delegation for choosing to observe activities of the command.

He informed that the command had a very strong inter-agency relationship with all security agencies, para-military formations and other stakeholders across the state.

“Through this robust and extensive inter-agency partnership and synergy, a lot have been achieved in terms of fighting crime and ensuring peace in the state.

“I will assure you that the command will never rest on its oars towards sustaining the tempo, as well as improving on what had been achieved already,’’ he said. (NAN)
