DELTA Commissioner for Information, Mr Charles Aniagwu, has urged the newly elected executive members of the State Chapter of Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) to encourage good working relationship with state government.

Aniagwu stated this in Asaba on Monday in his congratulatory message to Sonia Unobunjo, following her election victory on Friday as the 5th Chairperson of the State chapter of NAWOJ.

He also felicitated the entire newly elected executive and wished them a successful tenure.

He assured of a continued robust and sustained working relationship between the ministry and NAWOJ.

“On behalf of the management and staff of the Delta State Ministry of Information, I congratulate you on your election as the Chairperson of Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Delta State chapter.

“Over the years you have given a good account of yourself as a well-trained journalist and comrade in the struggle.

“These years of hard work and dedication no doubt culminated in the implicit confidence reposed in you and members of your executive by NAWOJ Delta Chapter to lead them.

“It is my wish that you use your good office to foster good working relationship between your colleagues and our ministry and the entire state government.

“As you commence the journey of your leadership of the union, it is my prayer that God will grant you the wisdom to pilot the affairs of the union to the glory of God and humanity,” Aniagwu said. (NAN)
