Ebonyi closes all private/public schools for 7 days over outbreak of Lassa fever

EBONYI State government Thursday announced the closure of all private and public schools across the State for 7 days.

The closure was necessary following the outbreak of Lassa fever which had so far claimed 3 lives with several others admitted in the hospital.

Students and pupils who were not aware of the development were seen returning back home from their school in the early hours of today.  –  Vanguard
