Edo Polls: What PDP said to Kwankwaso

THE People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has commended Musa Rabiu Kwankwaso, former governor of Kano State, on his superlative role and performance during the governorship election in Edo State, saying it was proud of him.

The party said his doggedness and contributions led to its victory in Edo State.

Senator Umaru Ibrahim Tsauri, national secretary of PDP, made the commendation in a terse letter sent to Kwankwaso, dated September 21 2020, entitled: ‘Letter of commendation and appreciation”, released to journalists in Abuja on Sunday.

The letter reads, “After the wonderful campaigns and successful gubematorlal election In Edo State, the National Working Committee (NWC) of our great party (PDP) reviewed your contributions towards the success recorded. 

“Your doggedness, commitments, human, physical and logistical contributions and support contributed immensely to the success and victory during the election.

“The leadership of the party is very proud of you and will always feel happy to associate with you and your achievements.

“The National Working Committee (NWC) pray to Almighty Allah to guide, direct, protect and bless you at all times.

 “As we set for Ondo, we pray to Him to give you health, strength, courage and wisdom to do more than what you did in Edo, so that we make Ondo to fall within the PDP fold, Amen. May Allah Bless you.”
