IKEM Uzoezie, member representing  Aguata 11 constituency  in Anambra State House of Assembly, has donated classroom block that he built to Umuezennafor Primary School, Ekwulobia.

Uzoezie officially handed over the classroom block to Sam Ezeofor, Anglican Bishop of Aguata Diocese, on June 13.

Bishop Ezeofor commended Uzoezie for the classroom block and the drainage he constructed to control flooding around the school.

He prayed for God’s protection, blessings and love upon him.

The Bishop, then, urged the teachers to see their job as service to God who would reward them.

Responding, Uzoezie said he made the donation of the classroom in order to provide the pupils conducive environment for learning.

Nzemeka Olisah, chairman, Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board, thanked Uzoezie for his magnanimity while describing the gift of classroom block as the best.

“This is the best gift given to your people. By gesture you have invested in people, not just the pupils but also the contractor, the artisans engaged, with their families who partake from the proceeds,” he said.
