Passing-out: NYSC award certificates to 636 corps members in Niger

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has awarded certificates of completion of service to 636, 2018 Batch B Stream Two corps members in Niger.Related image

News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) report that the certificates were awarded during a low key passing-out exercise for the out-going corps members at the Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna on Thursday.

Mrs Funmilayo Ajayi, NYSC Coordinator in Niger, announced that three corps members were awarded with special certificates of commendation for their outstanding performance by the state government.

She disclosed that the certificates were signed by Alhaji Ahmed Matane, Secretary to the State Government who is also Chairman of the state NYSC Governing Board.

Ajayi said the secretary acknowledged the hard work and diligence exhibited by the corps members.

She named the awardees to include: Oladapo Sunday with state code number NG/18B/2092, Dikko Ademu, with state code number NG/18B/0085 and Ogbodu Genevieve, state code number NG/18B/0292.

She congratulated the corps members on the successful completion of their service year, saying that the reward for hard and honest work were endless.

She noted that the corps members were recognised for their outstanding work and contribution to their host communities.

The coordinator, however, urged them to continue to be good ambassador of the scheme in their future endeavours. (NAN)
