THE Nigerian Film Corporation (NFC) said winners of its film essay competition titled ‘Every view, Everywhere, when content is Key’, would get a total of N350,000 as prize.
Mr Brian Etuk, the Head of Public Relations and Intergovernmental Affairs of the cooperation, said this in a statement issued to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Jos.
According to Etuk, the prize will be N250, 000 for the winner of first position and N100,000 for the winner of the second position.
He said in addition to the cash prize, the right of publishing the winning essays in journals would be given the winners.
He said entries must be forwarded in an acceptable format, which is Arial font, 14 point size, typed in a double line spacing and should not be more than 15 pages on A4 size paper.
” Entries should be submitted either in hard copy addressed to the Managing Director, Nigerian Film Corporation, 218T Liberty Dam Road, Jos and clearly marked 2019 NFC Annual Film Essay Competition or through the email: firstname.lastname@example.org
The NFC official urged individuals and corporate organisations to participate in the competition through sponsorship.
He said the winners of the competition would be presented the cash prizes at the awards night of the Zuma Film Festival that would take place in December in Abuja. (NAN)
