KEBBI Governor, Atiku Bagudu, has approved the immediate payment of August, 2018 salaries to state and Local Government workers in the state.

The approval was contained in a statement signed by Bagudu’s Chief Press Secretary, Abubakar Dakingari, and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Birnin Kebbi on Tuesday.

The statement quoted Head of the state Civil Service, Alhaji Abubakar Idris, as saying,” the payment is to enable civil servants celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir Festival with their families in a brighter and good mood.”

It urged the civil servants to rededicate themselves to their duties and work diligently for the progress of the state.

The statement said that Bagudu rejoiced with the civil servants ahead of the festival and urged them to pray for the peace and progress of the state, the nation and her leaders. (NAN)
