ON Monday, 13th July, 2020, in a legislative performance/assessment rating conducted by OrderPaperNG, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District emerged as number one amongst the 46 first term Senators, as the Senator with the highest number of sponsored bills in the Ninth Assembly over the past one year.
This milestone that he was able to achieve within just a year in office was made even more possible by the active participation, steadfast prayers, support and well wishes of his constituents and supporters. Words will never be enough to express the depth of our gratitude to you all.
Despite the barrage of court cases, persecutions and evil propaganda targeted at the, senator, he has consistently kept his eyes on the ball and remained unshaken because one with God is majority; and in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him and have been called according to his purpose.
Though perfection is a virtue that will forever remain elusive in our DNA as human beings, but the distinguished Senator always tasks himself and strives to be the best he can at every moment for his people
Despite enduring several deliberate malignment, misinterpretations and other obstacles on his political sojourn, his eyes have always remained on the ball and on providing succour in different fields of human endeavor for his people.
A statement by Adichie Izuchukwu, SSA Media to Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, said that the
senator would continually strive to become a better person and the best that he can possibly be for his people
“Our hope as a country lies in the quality of laws made by the Legislature, this is incontrovertible because the Legislature is the focal point of our democratic system and Senator Ubah will always be at the beck and call of his people delivering on critical interventions that suit their needs at every point in time
“There is a lot of work to be done to better the lives of our people, we must therefore work together to revitalize the Igbo economy and also prioritise the promotion of our nation’s interest and collective goals
“I want to reassure our families, friends, constituents and supporters that Senator Ubah will remain steadfast and unrelenting in always working for the betterment of public interest through a robust, effective and detailed legislation and oversight activities so as to ensure that his people derive the full dividends of democracy.
