Kechi Okwuchi, who survived the December 10, 2005 plane crash that killed over 100 persons, including students of Loyola Jesuit College in Abuja, has said that she’s living her life in a way that honours their memories.

On her verified Twitter handle, Okwuchi, who is an America’s Got Talent show finalist, remembered those, who died in the crash.

She said, “To the dearly departed of December 10 2005, to the 60 angels, many of whom were dear friends, I want you to know I am doing my very best to keep my promise to you all, to live this gift of life in a way that will best honour your memories & honour the Lord.”

Okwuchi was one of the two survivors of the 2005 crash, which involved a flight from Abuja, heading to Port Harcourt. She was badly burned in the resulting fire after the crash and was treated at Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa as of 14 December 2005.

She also received treatment at the Shriners Hospitals for Children in Galveston, Texas, United States. – Punch
