Reality star’s return to social media causes frenzy amongst fans

FANS could not contain their excitement when reality star, Alex Unusual returned to Instagram one week after de-activating her account.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the dancer, actress, host and writer, who has 1.5 million followers on instagram, took a break off the social medium on April 2 shortly after the Big Brother Naija reunion show tagged ‘‘Double wahala reloaded”.

The last episode of the reunion show premiered on March 31, where ex-housemates of the BBNaija season 3 reality show gathered to talk about highlights including outbursts and emotions.

Although no reasons was given for the short break, Alex known as ”the internet controller,”returned to instagram on Monday night with hints of a new endorsement deal with Campari and a heartfelt caption.

She wrote, @alex_unusual, “Passion for what I love has taken me this far. I draw inspiration from the beautiful things of life. Make the most of what you have today.”

The post has garnered over 97,765 likes and 12,884 comments at the time of the report. Fans and celebrities alike flooded her comment section to welcome and encourage her.

NAN reports that Alex had signed back-to-back endorsement deals since she left the show. This was coupled with her speaking engagements.

She interacted daily with her fans on her Instagram page which currently boasts of 1.5 million followers.

Her first hosting was at the Mr 2Kay Port-Harcourt ‘Elevated Concert’ alongside industry veteran, Olisa Adibua to rave reviews in July, 2018.

This was followed by several speaking engagements where she motivated young women to pursue their dreams especially at the ‘360 Woman Africa’ conference in Lagos.

Apart from her frequent interactions with fans on live videos and Youtube, Alex has a partnership with EyedoctorsNG to provide free eye treatments to less privileged children.

She is also a leading a health campaigner on safe sex practices for young people as part of her ambassadorial duties for ‘My PaddiApp’.

My Paddi’ is an interactive platform where experts helped young people answers questions on sexual health and safety practices. Details of her Campari deal were still unknown. (NAN)
