SAUDI Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud on Friday received Deputy Chairman of Sudan’s Transitional Council Mohamed Hamdan Daqlu.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the two officials met in Jeddah and discussed bilateral cooperation as well as the latest development in the region.
Saudi Arabia announced on May 19 that it has deposited 250 million dollars in the Central Bank of Sudan.
The amount is part of a joint Saudi-United Arab Emirates 3-billion-dollar aid package announced in April, in which 500 million dollars has been provided by both countries as a deposit in the Central Bank of Sudan to strengthen its financial position.
