Gov. Ododo is committed to all round development of Kogi state – Commissioner

THE Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Femi Fanwo, has reiterated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s unwavering commitment to both human and infrastructural development across the three senatorial districts of the state.

Fanwo made the remark in his office while receiving the Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Media and Publicity, Ismaila Isah, and his team in Lokoja on Tuesday.

Fanwo commended the Special Adviser for the good job he is doing in the sector, emphasizing on the importance of working together as a team towards accomplishing a common goal.

According to him, the most important thing in the media space of government is collaboration and praised Ismaila for the collaborative spirit aimed at ensuring that the activities of the government are well reported and in the right manner.

“As the warehouse of the government Information, we would continue to give necessary support to initiatives that will promote the government and keep the heterogeneous audience properly informed,” he stated.

He promised to continue to report what is true, right and especially make government policies and programmes known to the people and promptly too.

In his speech earlier, the Special Adviser, Ismaila Isah, praised Fanwo for his unrelenting efforts at promoting the activities of the government.

He also appreciated the Commissioner for the opportunity given to them and his words of encouragement, assuring that government activities will be properly tracked and well reported by all parties as a mark of good governance.

The highlight of the visit was the presentation of an Annual Media Report to the Commissioner by the Special Adviser.
