THE Nigerian Dental Association (NDA) has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his swearing-in as Nigeria’s 16th President, urging his administration to implement the National Oral Health Policy in the country.

This is stated in a congratulatory message jointly issued in Abuja on Tuesday by the association’s President and Secretary General, Dr Adeyemi Tope and Dr Ukachi Nnawuihe.

According to the statement, his emergence as the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is a testament of his hard work, due diligence, patriotism and compassion.

“It is also as a result of your strong and proven favourable disposition to work with all true progressives within and outside Nigeria for a prosperous and united Nigeria.

“We, at the Nigerian Dental Association, are assured of a renewed hope and we hope that there will be implementation of the National Oral Health Policy in Nigeria,” the statement said.

The statement said the association expressed its readiness to work with Tinubu’s administration in improving all sectors, especially the oral health sector in order to guarantee a better and healthier oral health for Nigerians. (NAN)
