IBRAF, Trends Research & Advisory unite forces for groundbreaking collaboration on critical global issues

THE president of the Brazil Africa Institute, IBRAF, Professor João Bosco Monte, and the CEO of Trends Research & Advisory, Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, signed a historic memorandum of understanding, MoU, marking a significant milestone in fostering research cooperation between the two entities.

The ambassador of Brazil to the United Arab Emirates, Sidney Leon Romeiro, took part in the ceremony.

The MoU encompasses collaborative research and studies on crucial topics, including food security, climate change, migration, and cyber security. It also paves the way for the facilitation of conferences, seminars, and workshops, signaling a new era of collaboration between the Brazil Africa Institute and Trends Research & Advisory.

This agreement not only strengthens ties between Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East, but also reinforces the pivotal role of inter-institutional cooperation in addressing pressing global challenges.

In his remarks, Professor João Bosco Monte, highlighted the important nature of this partnership, positioning IBRAF as the first Latin American institution to engage with Trends Research & Advisory.

In addition, Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the MoU’s role in fortifying global research partnerships, particularly in light of the growing focus on Africa.
