Jimanze Ego-Alowes hosts a book reading

JIMANZE Ego-Alowes, one of Nigeria’s leading nonfiction authors and public intellectuals will be hosting the general public to a book reading and discussion session.

The acclaimed author and thinker will be reading and taking questions from his latest work, The University-Media Complex As Nigeria’s Foremost Amusement Chain.

The book published by The Stone Press Publishers, which is enjoying critical reviews, has been acclaimed as one of the most seminal works on development by an African.

The book reading and discussion session will hold on Friday, September 27, at the Page Bookstore, 82 Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos. Time is 4.00 pm.

Expected at the book reading are prominent scholars and statesmen including Odia Ofeimun and Abdulazziz Ude.

In the words of the author, this is a book session to help sensitize Nigerians on the role of the scholar as the foremost development agent.
