Former SGF, Babachir Lawal remanded in EFCC custody

THE former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, has been remanded in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission till Wednesday.
A Federal High Court in Abuja ordered the remand of the former SGF.
The Federal Government had earlier in January, filed 10 charges bordering on allegations of fraud against Lawal. He pleaded not guilty to the charges. – Punch
