Lawmaker re-assures constituents of better welfare

NASARAWA State Assemblyman Bello Isah has assured the people his constituents of improved welfare, if re-elected in 2023.

Isah (APC-Uke/Karshi) gave the assurance on Sunday in a meeting with stakeholders of Mada nation at Bagaji/Agada ward.

He thanked the stakeholders for endorsing him and Gov. Abdullahi Sule for another term come 2023

“Today is my day of joy and my happiest day. I am overwhelmed and happy with the endorsement and by God’s grace, I will continue to provide the much needed dividends of democracy to my people.

“I have done my best and still doing my best in developing and taking my constituency to the next level.

“I want to re-assure you of more dividends of democracy, if given another mandate come 2023,” he said.

Bello, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Capital Market, also assured them of more inclusive leadership and quality representation.

The lawmaker however called on the people of his constituency and the state at large to support qll APC candidates beyond 2023.

“This is to enable us and other people of the State enjoy more dividends of democracy,” he added.

In their separate remarks, the stakeholders resolved to endorse the governor and the lawmaker for another term come 2023.

This, they said, followed the flag bearers purposeful leadership and representation.

They said that Sule and Isah have performed creditably well, hence their endorsement.

Mr Abubakar Madaki, the Director-General, Nasarawa State Waste Management Authority; Dr David Sunday of the Department of Political Science and Dr Hassan Suleiman of Zoology Department, Nasarawa State University, Keffi, as well as Mrs Maryamu Tama, all stakeholders, lauded the leadership qualities of Sule and the lawmaker.

They also said that the governor’s developmental strides and Isah’s quality representation called for their endorsement to consolidate on the gains achieved

They declared that Mada people in Bagaji/Agada ward have resolved to give their votes to the governor and the lawmaker beyond 2023.

They reiterated that their decision to endorse them was based on their track records of achievements.

They assured of their readiness to mobilise support for the APC candidates to succeed beyond 2023. (NAN)
