Gbaramatu Voice launches Mobil Apps

POISED in its resolve to maintain the flagship in news breaking and leadership in Niger Delta reportage, Gbaramatu Voice has launched a mobile application that will avail its teaming news consumers access to the news as it breaks even while on the move using their smart handsets.

Welcoming the guests at the  event which took place on Monday, January 29, at Okuemi Hotels,  Warri, Delta state, Jacob Abai, publisher/editor-in-Chief of Gbaramatu Voice, stated  that the unveiling of the mobile app is more of a celebration as the occasion has given the news organization a golden opportunity to showcase its scorecard loaded with  remarkable achievements made within its  short period in  operation.

He added that such achievements have led to the publication being recognised   locally and internationally  from notable bodies such as the Proudly Ijaw Indigenes of Nigeria, PIIN, in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, the National Association of Gbaramatu Students, NAGS, in Warri, Delta State, as well as the Business Initiative Directions,BID, Quality Award, in the Gold Category at the International BID Quality Convention that will take place in March 2019  in Frankfurt, Germany

Abai also highlighted the news organization’s future thematic plans and appealed  to the state government, captains of industries and other well-meaning Nigerians to collaborate with Gbaramatu Voice to enable it to achieve its plans which he described as lofty, tasking but definitely going to be rewarding.

On his Part, Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, Delta state deputy governor, ably represented by his executive assistant on boundary matters, Gweke Akudihor congratulated the Gbaramatu for the landmark achievement.

The deputy governor further pointed out that the mobile application is a great achievement as it will launch the news organization into the global market for worldwide recognition.

Ekomieyefa Uduboh, chairman of the occasion, stressed that Gbaramtu Voice is now rated as first among equals in the world of media practice.

Uduboh, who is the Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of the KFT Place, therefore, urged all to support the Gbaramatu Voice quest for excellence in information gathering and dissemination by keying into its vision.

Similarly, Wellington Okirika, pioneer chairman of Delta State Oil Producing Development Areas Commission, DESOPADEC, and the Bolouwei of the Gbaramatu Kingdom who functioned as the father of the day at the event expressed happiness witnessing such a development coming from Gbaramatu Voice while adding that the newspaper has been diligent on trending issues in the  Niger Delta region and beyond.

Favour Izoukumor, commissioner representing Ijaw Ethnic Nationalities in the Delta State Oil Producing Areas and Development Commission, DESOPADEC, was not left out in these torrent of congratulatory messages as he emphasized that the Gbaramatu Voiceteam has become a very worthy ambassador of the Niger Delta region at the media global stage.

Present at the event includes  Oboro Gbaraun II Aketekpe, Agadagba, Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom,  represented by Wellington Bobo, Oroupawei of Gbaramatu Kingdom. Rueben Tonjoh representing chairman, Jude Ukori, Egbema Gbaramatu Communities Development Foundation, EGCDF; Triple Chief Vero Tangbuwei Emmanuel (JP), National Woman Leader of Gbaramatu Kingdom.
