Bello Ahmed Salim, university teacher, former registrar and chief executive, Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, 69, February 2. Born in Gwarzo, Kano State, he was educated at Government College, Keffi, 1964-1968, and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He also attended Universities in the United Kingdom. Salim was a lecturer at Bayero University, Kano, from 1976-1996, when he was appointed the registrar and chief executive officer of JAMB.
