He was appointed lecturer 11, ABU, Zaria, 1970; dean Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, ABU, Zaria, 1983-1987 and vice chancellor, ABU, Zaria, 1991-1995. Saror was elected senator representing Benue State in 1999 and contested the 2007 and 2011 governorship election under All Nigeria Peoples Party, ANPP, in Benue State.
