Simeon Afolabi, senior pastor of Firstlove Assembly, Rumuokwuta, Port Harcourt, 55, February 22. Born at Ipee in Oyun local government area of Kwara State, Afolabi attended Kwara State College of Technology (now Kwara Polytechnic), Ilorin. He gained admission into the University of Ibadan in 1980 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science in 1985 and a Masters degree in the same discipline in 1987. Afolabi became a staff of Living Faith World Outreach Centre, where he served in various capacities for 10 years before founding Firstlove Assembly in 1998.
