Obinna Chukwudum Uzoh, lawyer, administrator, industrialist, politician and the managing director/chief executive officer, Gocuz Group Limited, 55, March 17. Born in Ihiala, Anambra State, he was educated at the University of Lagos; the Nigerian Law School, Abuja, and Lagos State University. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Master’s degree in Marketing, and LLB in law. He also holds a doctorate in Economics from the Lagos State University. A philanthropist who has touched the lives of many people through the award of scholarships to students, educational endowment, sport development, and building of places of worship, Uzoh is the chairman, Board of Trustees, Madonna University Okija, Anambra State; member, Nigerian Bar Association; fellow, Institute of Cost Management; fellow, Institute of Internal Auditors; member, Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce, and member, Nigerian-Asian Chamber of Commerce, amongst others. Uzoh is also a founding member of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, as well as a former gubernatorial aspirant of the party in Anambra State. He is married with children.
