THE Medical Director, National Ear Care Centre, Dr Mustapha Danyaro, says the centre has made adequate arrangements against Covid- 19.

Danyaro said the hospital is more concerned about the pandemic as some of the patients who came to the centre have similar Covid-19 symptoms.

Danyaro disclosed this on Wednesday while speaking with newsmen in his office in Kaduna.

He said: “the Center is more concerned of the Covid-19 pandemic because most of our patients that come to the center come with similar symptoms of Covid-19 like sneezing and coughing and it is very difficult to identify patients that are Covid-19 victims.

“As a hospital, we have made all the necessary arrangements that will protect our staff and our patients.

“We have tried as much as possible to see how we can minimise the number of our patients.

“We have provided all the necessary protective equipments to protect our staff and also to protect the transmission of the disease.”

The medical director urged Nigerians to comply with the preventive  measures announced by the Federal  Government against the spread of the pandemic.

“Especially the practice of hand washing, personal hygiene, social distancing, and minimising movements, unless it is necessary,”
