The rating was made public at a recent meeting of the APC Governors Forum held in Kaduna. Incidentally, Governor Okorocha is the chairman of the Forum. A source close to the Forum said: “Okorocha was embarrassed when the result of the assessment was made public during the meeting.” The source said the Imo State Governor blamed the poor rating on bad press and the failure of his image handlers to effectively inform the public about the programmes and achievements of his administration. According to the source, the rating led to the minor cabinet reshuffle which Okorocha effected on Thursday, sacking the state commissioner for information, Vitalis Ajumbe, and his (Okorocha’s) special adviser on information and strategy/director general, Imo Orientation Agency, Kelechi Okpalaeke. - News Express
